Light the way for safety, security, and curb appeal. TORCH designs and installs site lighting, building‑mounted fixtures, and exterior electrical systems—from LED retrofits and pole lights to controls, signage power, and code‑compliant egress lighting.
What we install & upgrade
- Parking‑lot and roadway pole lighting (foundations, poles, heads)
- Wall packs, canopies, and soffit lighting
- Bollards, pathway/landscape lighting, and step lights
- Emergency/egress lighting and exit signs (backup power as required)
- Photocells, timers, occupancy/motion sensors, and astronomical time clocks
- Exterior receptacles (in‑use covers), GFCI/AFCI where required
- Surge protection, grounding/bonding, and panel/circuit upgrades
- Signage power and low‑voltage coordination (cameras, access control)
Systems & options (performance + control)
- LED retrofits to cut energy and maintenance with higher output and better optics
- Cutoff optics/Dark‑Sky friendly distributions to reduce glare and spill
- Color temperature matched to application (e.g., 3000–4000K for welcoming but clear visibility)
- Smart controls: photocell + timeclock, motion/occupancy, daylight sensing, and scheduling
- Emergency/egress paths with dedicated circuits and backup power (battery or generator)
Details we get right (durability + code)
- Concrete pole bases: depth, anchor bolts, conduit stubs, and reveal above grade
- Weather‑rated enclosures, gasketed junction boxes, and in‑use covers
- Correct wiring methods in wet locations; sealed penetrations to keep water out
- Grounding/bonding at poles and metallic systems; surge protection at panels
- Photometric layout to minimize dark spots; fixture mounting heights and spacings
- Clear separation of signage low‑voltage from line‑voltage power feeds
Our process
- Assessment & measure – Existing fixtures, panel capacity, site safety, and lighting goals
- Spec & proposal – Fixture selection (output/optics/CCT), controls, bases, and wiring plan
- Permits & utility locates – Coordinate with AHJ and Dig Safe/utility for trenching routes
- Prep – Sawcut/trench, form pole bases, pull new circuits, set enclosures and controls
- Install – Set poles/fixtures, aim/level, program controls, label circuits
- QA & turnover – Night aiming check, punch list, as‑builts/cut‑sheets, and maintenance plan
