Behind every successful renovation or build is a strong team of skilled trade contractors. At TORCH, we believe great projects are built on clear communication, realistic scheduling, and reliable partnerships — not chaos and guesswork.
As our project pipeline continues to grow across Rochester, the Finger Lakes, and Western NY, we’re expanding our Preferred Trade Partner network and inviting qualified subcontractors to apply.
A Better Way to Work Together
We know what trade contractors deal with far too often: unclear scopes, rushed schedules, late payments, and poor coordination. TORCH was built to be different.
We focus on running organized, professional job sites where trades can do their best work without unnecessary friction. That means realistic timelines, complete information, and fast answers when questions come up.
What Types of Trades We’re Looking For
We partner with a wide range of self-performing trade contractors across residential, light commercial, and municipal projects, including:
Concrete, masonry, carpentry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, tile, flooring, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, sitework, steel, millwork, waterproofing, fire protection, specialty installations, and more.
If your scope isn’t listed on our form, we still encourage you to apply and describe your capabilities.
Where We Work
We prioritize crews based in — or regularly working within — the following areas:
Rochester / Monroe County, Wayne, Ontario, Livingston, Genesee, Orleans, Wyoming, Yates, Seneca, Cayuga, Schuyler, Steuben, Chemung, Tompkins, Erie, Niagara, Onondaga, and Allegany Counties.
Our goal is to keep crews close to home and minimize windshield time whenever possible.
Why Trade Contractors Choose TORCH
Working with TORCH means:
• A consistent pipeline of bid opportunities across Upstate NY
• Clear scopes, drawings, and site walks
• Realistic, coordinated schedules (we don’t stack trades recklessly)
• Clean, safety-focused job sites with pre-task planning
• Reliable payment with standard lien waivers and ACH processing
• Local projects that respect your crew’s time
We value long-term relationships — not one-off jobs.
What We Look For in Trade Partners
To keep projects running smoothly, we look for partners who bring:
Active insurance (GL, auto, workers’ comp), OSHA 10 or 30 for field leadership, a safety program, recent references, reliable staffing, and professional communication when it comes to change orders, documentation, and invoicing.
Certifications such as MBE/WBE, SDVOB, DBE, SBA 8(a), OSHA 30, EPA Lead-Safe, or other industry credentials are a plus and help us invite you to more bids.
