Protect your building from the top down. TORCH installs and repairs steep‑slope and low‑slope roofs, handles leak tracing and flashing tie‑ins, and applies waterproofing systems for long‑term performance in Western New York’s snow, wind, and freeze‑thaw cycles.
What we install & repair
- Asphalt shingle roofing (architectural/laminate), ice‑dam protection, ridge/soffit ventilation
- Standing‑seam and ribbed metal roofing, snow retention, trim/edge metal
- Low‑slope systems: TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen; tapered insulation and cover boards
- Roof coatings (elastomeric/acrylic/silicone) for qualified restorations
- Skylights, curbs, and roof hatches; pipe/vent/RTU penetrations
- Parapet, step/counter/through‑wall flashing repairs and replacements
- Waterproofing: balcony/deck membranes, plaza decks, planters, below‑grade tie‑ins
Systems & options (performance + durability)
- Ice & water shield at eaves/valleys, chimney/roof‑wall intersections
- Tapered polyiso to correct ponding and improve drainage
- High‑temp underlayments for metal and low‑slope transitions
- Snow management: guards, fences, heat cable (as appropriate)
- Ventilation: continuous intake/exhaust for attic health and shingle life
Envelope details we get right

- Spec & proposal – Assembly selection (shingle/metal/TPO/PVC/EPDM or coating), insulation/drainage plan, phasing
- Permits & scheduling – Coordinate with AHJ; plan weather windows and crane/lift logistics
- Prep – Protection, demo, substrate repair, replace damaged sheathing/deck, install underlayments
- Install – Membranes/underlayments/flashings per manufacturer specs; penetrations and curbs properly detailed
